以高解像力超音波診斷膝半月軟骨破裂之可靠性
Abstract
Sonography (US) of the knee has gained in significance in the diagnosis of the meniscal injuries. In order to evaluate the diagnostic capabilities of US in meniscal lesions of the knee, 112 patients with suspected knee injury over a period of six months were studied with high-resolution US equipped with a 10 MHz linear transducer. Eighteen of them also received arthroscopy or magnetic resonance imaging, as a gold standard for detecting the meniscal lesion. The normal image of the meniscus in US appeared as a homogenous echogenic to hypoechoic triangle with the tip inward to the interior joint. A smooth hyperechoic reflecting plane in the otherwise homogenous structure of the meniscus was evidence of of a meniscal lesion. The results showed that the sensitivity of US in detecting a meniscal tear was 93.3%, the specificity was 76.5%, the positive predictive rate was 77.8%, and the negative predictive rate was 92.8%. We conclude that high-resolution US is a reliable tool in defining meniscal lesions of the knees.
