舞者與一般女性站立乎衡能力之比較

Abstract

This article investigated the difference of standing balance between the dancers and the normal females. The subjects included two groups. The dancer group consisted of twelve students of the department of dance, aged from 18 to 25 years. The another group consisted of ten normal females, aged from 21 to 27 years. The subjects were asked to kick a ball with a single leg three times before the operation of test. The leg to kick ball was defined to dominant leg. The another leg was referred to as supporting leg. Then, the flexibility was measured, which included spinal flexion and spinal exten sion. The equipment was Chattecx balance system. The subject stood on the balance platform with bared foot for ten seconds. The computer software calculated the dispersion index of mean center of balance. There were eight items of test: 1. eyes open, double stance, stable platform, 2. eyes closed double stance, stable platform, 3. eyes open, double stance, dynamic platform, 4. eyes closed, double stance, dynamic platform, 5. eyes open, dominant leg, stable platform, 6. eyes closed, dominant leg, stable platform, 7. eyes open, supporting leg, stable platform, and 8. eyes closed, supporting leg, stable platform. All of the subjects didn’t have the habit of wering the high-heeled shoes. There was no leg-length discrepancy in all of the subjects. The dancer group had better flexibility than the female group (P<0.01). The dancer group had the better standing balance than the female group in the seventh items (P<0.05). In the dancer group, the supporting leg had better standing balance than the dominant leg in the condition of eyes open (P<0.05). However, there was no difference of standing balance between the dominant leg and supporting leg in the female group. There was larger dispersion index with eyes closed than with eyes open (P<0.01).
