超音波熱療對體內溫度變化之評估
Abstract
Fifty volunteers' 90 backs (10 cm in length & 4 cm in width area at bilateral second to fith lumbar paraspinal muscle) were treated by therapeutic ultrasound with different intensities & times to evaluate the effect of heat produced by ultra-sound diathermy. The temperatures were measured with digital thermometer & AK 8 needle tissue electrode and rocorded every two minute interval at every 0.5 cm depth (0.5cm to 5cm from skin). The muscles were divded into sevengroups randomly. Group A;30 backs received ultrasound at an intensity of 1.5 watts/c㎡ for 5 minutes. Group AA; 10 backs, 1.5w,/c㎡ . 10 min. Group B: 10 backs, 1.0 w/c㎡, 5 min. Group BB: 10 backs, 1.0 w/c㎡, 10 min. Group C: 10 backs. 0.5 w/c㎡ , 5 min. Group CC: 10 backs 0.5 w/'c㎡, 10 min. Group CN: 10 backs, 0 w/'c㎡, 5 min. for control. The result showed Group A: highest rise 5.5°C at 4.5 cm depth from the skin, mean: 1.84°C; Group AA: highest rise 6.0°C at 4cm depth, mean 1.93°C; Group B: highest rise 3.2°C at 5 cm depth, mean: 1.6°C: Group BB: highest rise 3.5°C at 5cm depth mean: 1.79°C; Group C: highest rise 2°C at 5 cm. mean: 0.64 °C; Group CN: decrease slightly. It was found that that the highest rise of temperature occured in the deeper area of tissue and decreased with tissue depth. All temperature rise decreased with time passing and returned to initial temperature within 10 to 15 minutes. Groups of 10 minute treatment got higher temperature rise and manitained longer periods than those of groups of 5 minute treatment with statistics significance.
