以非生物廻饋放訓練治療慢性頑固疼痛之經驗報告

Abstract

From January, 1986 through April, 1998, a total 42 patients with chronic intractable pain, age between 25 and 60 years, were treated by non-biofeed back relaxation technique including progressive relaxation, autogenic phrase, Benson's meditation and visual imagery. All patients had ever received medical, surgical and physical treatments but in vein at all.Twenty-eight of 42 patients (66.6%)reported getting apparent to slight improvement after relaxation training. Patients in non-specific pain syndrome group had a higher successful result than those in failed back surgery syndrome, cervical syndrome, and low back syndrome groups. Fourteen of 42 patients failing to get improvement reported some discomfort during training sessions including phobia, anxiety and strange body feeling.
